Drama Games by Tricia & Team (Drama Workshop '06)
This is a station game. There are eight stations all together. Members are divided into teams and they have to race by completing all six stations. But it is not as easy as it sounds. They have to go through big bosses and temple guards. Life card is given, where points, rewards and penalties will be collected along the game. Enjoy!
8 stations (6 game stations, 1 penalty station & 1 checkpoint station)
5 teams (with 5 members in each team)
3 big bosses : To award or certify the envelope rewards.
6 temple guards : To snatch lives away, spies (spot problems)
Station One :
Spider Twist / English Twist.
Participants have to twist themselves past spider webs by earning moves with correct answers to the quiz. Flour attacks at some points of the game. Watch out!
Materials : Questions for quiz, string, colour chalks and flour.
Station Two : Water Chaboo.
Participants (guessers) will sit back facing committee, whereas only one will stand facing one of the committee. The committee will hold up a sign and participant must act it out. Points will be awarded based on how many the participants (guessers) can get correct in 1 minute. If participant (actor) fails to act it out in 10 seconds, water will be squirted at her/him.
Materials : Squirt bottle / water gun, manila cards, markers and timer (countdown)
Station Three :
Food Fusion.
Plates of food will be prepared on the table. (Healthy fruit, crackers and cakes) One of the plates contains a note stating what movie they will act. They have to find the paper by eating everything on the plate. For example, if they get a note saying "Pirates of the Carribean" they will have to watch a segment of the movie, and act out the scene.
Materials : Food, laptop, DVD / VCD movies, plates / bowls and notes.
Station Four :
Superstardom.
Lyrics to a song of their choice ( A, B or C ) will be handed out to the participants. They will then have to prepare a mime in 5 - 10 minutes, which will then be acted out with the song.
Materials : CD (mime-able songs), CD player and lyrics of songs.
Station Five :
Move your body.
We give them make up and a picture. They will have to make up a person from their team according to what is given. Later on, a member will dip his feet into slime to attempt to find a key. (Key leads to final station)
Materials : Make up set, picture to imitate, slime (flour, colouring), water, basins (x5) and key.
Station Six :
Storytelling.
Committee will sit down in a circle and they take turns creating a story. Start with : One day, etc, etc, etc. One person tries one line. Then, the committee will tell them that they have to act the story out. Surprise! Surprise!

Station Seven :
Penalties.
They have to solve all their penalties here before going to the last station. (Check-point)
Materials : penalty equipments.
Station Eight : Checkpoint.
An amazing race style checkpoint will be made here, photo session with the background.
